Hollandview Trail has a 'Park & Gardens' area. The gardens include raised flower beds where residents care for personal gardens. We had a garden in 2018 along with15 other residents. The gardens were a riot of colour reflecting personal choices made by their custodians. They were also a joy to photograph with constant change as the summer progressed. The raised beds (waist high) eliminated the bending and crouching usual for photographers. Wonderful!
In September of 2009 we made our second visit to les Iles-de-la-madeleine.
We had all kinds of weather. Wind, rain, sunshine, overcast ... you name it, we had it, and that was great. There were lots of photographic opportunities. What you see here is just a sampling of our 7 day feast. Don't worry about how you get here, just come ... and enjoy wonderful hospitality!
